Our Carpet Cleaning Process
Seven steps, no shortcuts, dry in 60 minutes.
We believe in a meticulous, step-by-step approach that protects the health of your home and the life of your floors. No shortcuts, just a thorough nontoxic dry compound method that delivers results.

Why Our Method Is Different
Traditional cleaning methods often rely on lots of water and harsh detergents that can damage fibers and leave sticky residue behind. Our process is different.
Nontoxic dry compounds and plant-based presprays gently but effectively lift and absorb dirt. Paired with commercial Counter-Rotating Brush (CRB) machines and high-powered vacuums, they pull soil from deep in the carpet pile while keeping moisture to a minimum.

Our 7-Step Carpet Cleaning Process
Every detail matters. Here’s exactly what to expect when our technicians arrive at your home or business.
1. Inspection and Fiber Suitability
We begin with a thorough assessment of your carpet or rugs. Our technicians identify the fiber type, evaluate its condition, and locate areas that need specialized attention, so the method is matched to your floors.
2. Commercial Pre-Vacuum
High-powered commercial vacuum equipment pulls out the loose, dry soil, dust and debris that settle deep in the carpet pile, before any cleaning product goes down.
3. Targeted Prespray
A nontoxic, plant-based prespray goes on soiled areas and traffic lanes to break down oils and stubborn dirt, preparing the fibers for the dry compound.
4. Dry Compound and CRB Agitation
Our organic dry compound is spread over the carpet, and a Counter-Rotating Brush (CRB) machine works it deep into the pile. The compound absorbs dirt, grime and lifted oils like thousands of tiny sponges.
5. Targeted Orbital Agitation
For stubborn stains and heavily soiled areas, a professional-grade Oreck Orbiter provides targeted orbital agitation to break down persistent spots.
6. Thorough Vacuum Removal
Once the compound has absorbed the soil, we make multiple passes with high-powered commercial vacuums to remove it, leaving your carpet clean, fresh, and dry to the touch.
7. Pet Stain and Odor Assessment
We finish by checking for pet stains and odors and treating them with our Good Boy, Bad Dog Stain and Odor Enzyme Treatment where needed.
How Long Does the Process Take?
Most appointments take one to three hours. A one- or two-room job is often finished in about an hour, while a whole house with stairs and hallways takes longer. Once we’re done, your carpet is dry and ready to walk on in about 60 minutes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a carpet cleaning appointment take?
Most appointments take one to three hours depending on how many rooms we’re cleaning and how soiled the carpet is. A one- or two-room job is often done in about an hour.
Do you move furniture?
We move light furniture like chairs, end tables and ottomans. We don't move beds, dressers, electronics or very heavy pieces. Picking up small items, toys and breakables before we arrive helps us reach as much carpet as possible.
Do you vacuum before cleaning?
Yes. A commercial pre-vacuum is step two of every job. Removing loose, dry soil first makes the rest of the process far more effective, so you don’t need to vacuum before we arrive.
What happens with deep pet stains?
We assess and treat pet stains as part of every clean. Deep contamination, like urine that has soaked into the pad, may need additional targeted treatment, and results depend on how severe and how old the stain is. We’ll tell you honestly what to expect before we start.
When can I walk on my carpet?
In about 60 minutes. Because the process uses so little moisture, most carpets are dry and ready for kids and pets in about an hour. Your technician will give you re-entry guidance before they leave.
